Matt Mason says he will be fit for next month's start of the new season

Worcestershire paceman Matt Mason is hoping his injury worries are all behind him as he prepares for the new season.

He missed almost all of last year's programme with a shoulder injury, but he told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he is desperate to get going again.

"I'm back bowling, but it's been a long road back since I had the original operation last February.

"I'm building up slowly, and I'm sure I'll be fit for the first game."
