The English-qualified Australian has gone back to Perth to play club cricket to get match practice after missing almost the whole of the 2007 season.

"He's gone to warmer climes so that he can get some cricket under his belt," said team-mate Ben Smith.

"The shoulder is pain free, he's on a strengthening programme and it's just a matter of getting some overs in."
