Sussex manager Mark Robinson slams Twenty20 schedule

Sussex cricket manager Mark Robinson has criticised the format of the domestic FP t20 competition.
This year's winners will have to play 19 games compared to the 13 Sussex took to win the trophy last year.
Robinson told BBC Sussex: "It's gruelling and it takes a lot out of you - 16 group games is too many.
"It takes a toll and I think at some point the authorities must take a look at it and see what they're doing isn't for the good of the game."
He added: "You look around the country and there are a lot of injuries beginning to occur. You want your players to turn up and be fresh and excited.
"Matty Prior was so excited to join Sussex back from the England team because he hadn't played Twenty20.
"You look at when he hit it and he was buzzing and excited but he said to me the other night, 'it's becoming tiring this isn't it?', and that's not how it should be."
It's so instant, so demanding, and there's no middle ground - you're either rubbish or you're great

Robinson also has fears that too many matches could hit fan interest in the competition.
"It's so instant, so demanding, and there's no middle ground - you're either rubbish or you're great," he said.
"The danger is it stops being exciting for the players, the spectators and the umpires. It shouldn't become a slog."
Sussex are currently top of the South Group, with nine wins and four defeats from 13 matches.
