Batsman James Hildreth thinks newly-promoted Somerset can challenge to win the County Championship title for the first time this season.

The 23-year-old recently returned from England Lions duty in India.

He told the club website: "I think we are capable of doing whatever we want to achieve and if that is to come first, then we have the capability.

"Without any shadow of a doubt we are going to try to win every game and go on to lift the County Championship."
