Northants captain Hall expects Twenty20 turnaround
Hall has played 21 Test matches for South Africa
Northants captain Andrew Hall believes his side can turn around their Twenty20 fortunes, despite failing to record a win in 2010.
Wednesday's defeat to Lancashire made it three defeats in three games for the Steelbacks, who are next in action against Worcestershire on Friday.
Hall told BBC Radio Northampton: "We've still got 13 games in this competition.
"There's a long way to go. It's not the ideal start but, hopefully, we can turn it around soon."
New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent made the first of three T20 appearances for Northants as their stand-in overseas player, but only made 11 towards his side's total of 88.
The 31-year-old has played 23 test matches and 102 one-day internationals, but failed to show any of that pedigree in a poor Northants batting performance.
Hall added: "We always say we don't mind losing the odd wicket, but going into the seventh over already three wickets down means you can't win games," he said.
"Guys kept trying to go for runs but losing wickets. It wasn't a good performance all round.
"Players have got to start putting their hands up and putting in match-winning performances for us."
Northants remain eighth in the North Group of the competition, above bottom side Nottinghamshire, who have yet to play a game.
