Northants chief executive Mark Tagg has revealed the club is targeting another big-name signing to strengthen the squad at Wantage Road. The club's attempt to secure the services of India opening batsman Virender Sehwag for this summer's Twenty20 competition fell through. "Hopefully we can announce a new signing very shortly," Tagg told BBC Radio Northampton. "We're looking at an international-quality player for the Twenty20." He added: "And perhaps for one or two games before then as well, to boost our County Championship campaign," he added. Northants are awaiting the arrival of Zimbabwe all-rounder Elton Chigumbura who is currently involved in the World Twenty20 tournament in the Caribbean.
