Paul Nixon insists Leicestershire are not lacking in confidence despite losing their last six matches but says they will benefit from a mini-break.

The team have been beaten in their last three County Championship fixtures and have lost three in a row in the CB 40.

Leicestershire are next in action on Sunday, 23 May when they travel to play Durham in the CB 40.

Nixon told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've still got great belief but the break is coming at the right time."

The wicketkeeper added: "The batsmen can go in the second team, get some runs and some confidence and the bowlers can work hard in the nets.

"Collectively we have to get it together and get it right."
