Leicestershire captain Paul Nixon offered no excuses for his side's crushing County Championship defeat against Northamptonshire.

"They did everything better than us," Nixon told BBC Radio Leicester. "It was very disappointing.

"We played so nicely before the Twenty20 but have lost our way a bit since then.

"The guys have got to find some games where they played well and get back in that place."
