Nixon impressed with Leics start

Leicestershire

Leicestershire skipper Paul Nixon is thrilled with his side's form after seeing them go top of Division Two in the County Championship.

The Foxes eased past Glamorgan by an innings and 16 runs inside three days at Grace Road.

And Nixon told BBC Radio Leicester: "We wanted to be competitive in all cricket and we're doing that nicely.

"And we have done it without Garnett Kruger, who is one of our main strike bowlers, so we are delighted."
