Du Plessis hit two sixes and 13 fours in his unbeaten 78 against Leicestershire |
Batsman Francois Du Plessis has asked fans not to get too carried away by Lancashire's current good form. The Red Rose county have won 13 of their last 16 matches including four out of four in the Twenty 20 Cup. The South African told BBC Radio Manchester: "As soon as you start looking too far ahead, that's when you start playing badly. "What we're doing well is just playing the game on the day, focusing and then playing well in that game." "So to the guys out there, I'd just suggest you keep on - every game we play, make sure you support that game and if we win that game, it's good for moving on to the next game and take it day by day," he added.
