Alex Gidman leads Gloucestershire against Surrey at The Oval

Gloucestershire captain Alex Gidman is confident there is room for improvement as his side approach Tuesday's Twenty20 match against Surrey at The Oval.

Gidman was not too disheartened by the county's opening six-wicket defeat by Glamorgan in Cardiff on Friday.

"It was just rustiness," he told BBC Radio Bristol. "It wasn't a million miles away.

"We'll be looking to put as much of that right as possible and try to aim for that complete performance."

Wicketkeeper Jonathan Batty comes back into the 13-man squad named ahead of the 1730 BST fixture.
