Kirby was also docked points in June 2002 |
Gloucestershire paceman Steve Kirby has been hit with three penalty points under the England and Wales Cricket Board's discipline code. Kirby, 31, was reported by umpires Rob Bailey and Vanburn Holder for bowling an accidental high, full-pitched delivery against Glamorgan on 27 May. The incident took place in the Twenty20 Cup game at Cardiff and the points will stay on Kirby's record for two years. Players are suspended if they reach nine points over a two-year period.
