Gloucestershire have signed England under-19 seamer Ian Saxelby on a three year contract, following a trial spell.

The 19-year-old made his debut against Middlesex in July having started the season on Nottinghamshire's books.

Club mentor Jack Russell told the club's website: "Having watched a lot of young bowlers this season, he's undoubtedly the pick of the bunch."

Saxelby added:"I'm looking forward to this opportunity, hopefully things will go well and my cricket will improve."
