Gloucestershire keen on Saxelby

Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire chief executive Tom Richardson has revealed that seamer Ian Saxelby is considering a permanent move to the county.

Saxelby, on trial from Nottinghamshire, recently made his first-class debut against Middlesex at Bristol.

Richardson told BBC Radio Bristol that they want the 19-year-old to stay.

"We'd be very keen to sign him, he's gone away to think about it. He did well in his first game and he'd be the ideal sort of guy."
