Lewis expects Bracewell to improve results |
Gloucestershire captain Jon Lewis says there is a buzz around the changing room now the players know John Bracewell is returning to the club. Lewis worked under Bracewell during his first spell when Gloucestershire won seven one-day trophies in five years. "He's all about gelling teams together and getting the best out of people," Lewis told BBC Radio Gloucestershire. "He works you really hard. There's no room for shirkers but if you show 100% he'll reward you." Although Bracewell does not take up his position until next season, Lewis expects the appointment to have an instant impact on results. "There are a lot of guys whose contracts are up and so they need to get some performances under their belt. "John has been watching from afar for quite a while now and I've spoken to him since he left, and he's always been interested in who has been doing well and not so well."
