Struggling Country Championship Division Two side Gloucestershire have signed Nottinghamshire fast bowler Andrew Harris on loan.

The 34-year-old, a key member of Nottinghamshire's Championship-winning side of 2005, has taken over 400 wickets in his first-class career.

Chief executive Tom Richardson told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "We've had a few problems with the bowling.

"Some have not been firing so we thought we would get him in."

Richardson revealed that Gloucestershire are hoping to make a second loan signing in the near future.

"We are keen to get another one and hope to make an announcement reasonably quickly on that as well," he added.
