 Spearman played 19 Tests and 51 one-day internationals |
Gloucestershire's former New Zealand batsman Craig Spearman has signed a two-year extension to his contract. The 35-year-old, who joined in 2002 and had a year left on his deal, has signed on until the end of the 2010 season.
"I am happy to be finishing my career here and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club," Spearman explained.
Captain Jon Lewis added: "Craig's been our most consistent batting performer since he joined. His experience and knowledge is invaluable to us."
