Foster took three stumpings and three catches in the World Twenty20
Essex wicketkeeper James Foster hopes his ICC World Twenty20 showing will lead to more appearances for England.
The 29-year-old impressed many with his keeping, with three stumpings, three catches and 36 runs from five matches.
"I think I did OK personally, probably not quite the runs that I really would have liked," he told BBC Essex.
"Whether I will play again in future in any sort of format, who knows, but I was just pleased to be involved and I'd love another chance at some stage."
Foster added: "I think I picked up a few things that I'll take away and try to work on."
The tournament saw Foster make a return to the international fold after a gap of seven years.
He made his Test debut for England on their tour of India in 2001, but a broken arm during their Ashes tour a year later spelled an end to a run in the side.
"The last couple of weeks has been a lot of fun for me and environment that I've been dying to be involved in for sometime," he added.
