Morris' side have three games left to secure a quarter-final spot |
Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris says his side's seven-run FP t20 win over Lancashire is proof of their improvement and growing confidence. "It shows we can compete. If you do the simple things well you give yourselves a chance," Morris told BBC Radio Derby. "The Twenty20 is going in a nice direction; people seem to be learning and taking responsibility." Derbyshire are in the fourth and final qualification spot for the quarter-finals with three games still to play.
