England's all-conquering women's team will be just one of the attractions at a week-long festival of cricket hosted by Derbyshire in July. The World Cup and World Twenty20 champions start the event with a one-day match against New Zealand on Thursday, 15 July at the County Ground. Derbyshire will also be in County Championship, Friends Provident Twenty20 and Clydesdale Bank 40 action. And there will be numerous attractions and social events taking place. Chief executive Keith Loring said: "Hosting a festival at county headquarters is an exciting new venture which we hope will attract new and returning supporters to cricket at the County Ground - and will give us an opportunity to showcase all of our new facilities."
