Derby County manager Nigel Clough says coach Johnny Metgod's inclusion in the Netherlands set-up for the 2010 World Cup is a huge honour for the club.
Metgod, who joined the Rams' backroom staff last summer, will be working as a scout in the build-up and throughout the tournament in South Africa.
Clough said: "We are delighted for Johnny and proud that he will be representing his country.
"It is no surprise; his knowledge of the game is second to none."
