Clare scored 555 runs and took 31 wickets in first-class cricket in 2008

Derbyshire fast-bowler Jonathan Clare is amongst six men that have been selected for the England and Wales Cricket Board's bowling skills set.

The group are currently being assessed at the National Academy in Loughborough before going to Florida for a month-long conditioning camp.

The pacemen will then work with legendary Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee in early February.

Clare joined Derbyshire after being released by Lancashire in 2005.
