Middlesex are without Andrew Strauss, who has joined up with the England squad ahead of the Ashes, and Eoin Morgan, who is on England Lions duty.

Seamer David Burton is included in a 12-man squad after taking five wickets in the defeat to Gloucestershire.

Surrey include captain Mark Butcher and Mark Ramprakash after both were rested for the final Twenty20 Cup group games.

Off-spinner Simon King is included after making his debut in Sunday's defeat to Kent.
