Kent opener Joe Denly is on England Lions duty, with his place being taken by Sam Northeast.

Azhar Mahmood is included after missing the defeat by Essex, but there is no room for seamer Robbie Joseph.

Gloucestershire will be without batsman Chris Taylor, who split the webbing on his hand in the Twenty20 defeat to Somerset on Friday.

Spinners Vikram Banerjee and Richard Dawson are included in a 13-man squad, but Ian Saxelby (knee) misses out.
