Tour match, Dhaka: Bangladesh A v England
Gareth Batty claimed three wickets as England's attempt to claim a morale-boosting victory in their final warm-up match was halted by rain.
The hosts were 81-4 at lunch, still 10 behind England, after off-spinner Batty claimed 3-19 in a seven-over spell.
But the tourists were denied their first win of the tour by torrential rain which ruled out any further play.
Batty removed Aftab Ahmed and Rajin Saleh - both in Bangladesh's 13-man squad next week's opening Test.
Steve Harmison had earlier boosted his own Test hopes with the wicket of first innings centurion Nafis Iqbal, who played a loose shot low to gully.
The Durham fast bowler was unfortunate not to claim a second wicket in his next over when Aftab clearly gloved the ball but the umpires refused England's loud appeal.
But Batty struck with his second delivery, Aftab driving straight to Michael Vaughan at extra cover as the deteriorating pitch began to offer extra assistance.
Four overs later, Rajin guided a sharp catch to Nasser Hussain at short leg and new batsman Najimuddin then edged behind to wicketkeeper Geraint Jones.
The Kent man was given his first outing of the tour to give first-choice Chris Read a rest.
