Wayward bowling proved costly as Lincolnshire lost by five wickets at Suffolk in the MCCA Knockout Trophy. Lincs made 222-8 from their 50 overs with Brett Houston 52 not out, before Adam Shepherd took two early wickets to reduce the hosts to 8-2. But they gave away 40 extras, including 24 wides, as Suffolk reached 224-5 with Hassan Adnan top-scoring on 67. Lincolnshire must now beat Norfolk in their last group game to have any chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
