Lincolnshire suffered a 32-run defeat by Berkshire in their MCCA Knockout Trophy tie at Woodhall Spa. Batting first, the visitors made 267-8 from their 50 overs with half-centuries for Michael Roberts, Jonathan McLean and Steven Naylor. Lincolnshire were reduced to 105-5 but Conrad Louth made 57 and Jamie Morgan 54 to maintain their chance of victory. But former England spinner Shaun Udal claimed the final four wickets, taking 5-59 as Lincs were all out for 235. The defeat, which followed an opening 170-run win at Cambridgeshire, leaves Lincolnshire second behind Berkshire in group four of the competition.
