Lincolnshire win Minor Counties Eastern Division title

Lincolnshire have won the Minor Counties Eastern Division with a nine-wicket win over Bedfordshire, while rivals Suffolk drew with Cumberland.

Beds were all out for 178 in their second innings at Grantham to leave Lincolnshire needing 13 runs to win.

Aaron Onyon took 5-70 and Brett Houston finished with match figures of 10-101.

Lincs opener Dan Birch was out second ball but Vikram Atri wrapped up the victory inside three overs to set up a Minor Counties final clash at Dorset.

Suffolk's match against Cumberland at Sedbergh ended in a draw with Suffolk, chasing 383 to win, closing on 334-9 in their second innings.

Lincolnshire v Bedfordshire (Grantham):

Beds 230 (Arblaster 55, Houston 8-49) & 178 (Onyon 5-70)

Lincs 396-7 (Cook 127, Andrews 67no, Birch 50) & 14-1

Lincolnshire win by nine wickets.
