Leaders Paul and second-placed St Just both suffered weekend defeats in the Cornwall Premier League. Paul were bowled out for 92 at Callington, who made 93-3 in response to win by seven wickets. Second-placed St Just lost at home to fifth-placed Grampound Road after being bowled out for 193 chasing a target of 195 to win. Paul remain on top of the league, leading St Just by nine points, with five games left to play. Third-placed Truro made 221-2 to secure an eight-wicket win at St Austell, who were bowled out for 218. Werrington bowled out Newquay for 92 before reaching their target with six wickets to spare. Meanwhile bottom club Penzance were bowled out for 134 at Falmouth, as the home side went on to win by nine wickets.
