Castletown thrashed Crosby by 217 runs on Saturday to extend their lead over St John's at the top of the Isle of Man Premier League to four points. The southerners won the toss and elected to bat making a huge total of 324-2 from their 50 overs. Ben Akrigg and Gareth Morris both smashed centuries with Akrigg 104 and Morris finishing unbeaten on 138. In reply Crosby were dismissed for 107 with Mark Williams taking 3-2 and Richard Jackson 2-18. Meanwhile, Cronkbourne skipper Max Stokoe inspired his side to a six-wicket victory over Ramsey.
