Alex Stead scored an unbeaten century to lead Staffordshire to a 114-run victory over Cumberland at Leek. Stead, playing against his former county, hit seven fours and three sixes in his 104 not out as Staffordshire posted a challenging total of 261-7. Gareth Morris and Dave Edwards both took three wickets each as Cumberland slumped to 147 all out. Staffordshire, who reached the final of the Knockout Cup in 2009, have won both matches in the competition this season.
