Radford was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year for 1986 |
Former England Test player Neal Radford will be the main speaker at the Isle of Man Cricket Association's annual dinner and prize presentation. Radford played for Lancashire before spending ten years with Worcestershire and took nearly one thousand wickets in his career. "We're delighted that Neal has accepted out invitation," chairman of the IOMCA Barry Smith said. The dinner is to be held at the Hilton Hotel on Friday 13 November. Smith added: "He was an incredible player and I hope it will encourage people to come along on the night." Elsewhere, another England Test player will be on the island at the end of the month. Richard Dawson will visit the island to hold specialist coaching sessions with the Manx senior eleven and selected juniors.
