St Just retained their hold on the WT Edwards Cup on Wednesday, beating Newquay by 74 runs in the final. St Just made 162-4 off their 20 overs, with man-of-the-match Neil Curnow scoring a quick-fire 52. In reply, Newquay lost wickets at regular intervals and never looked likely of reaching the target, as they stuttered to 88 all out after 15 overs. St Just's win means they qualify for the regional finals of the national Twenty20 Cup.
