They beat Paul by five wickets on Sunday, whilst their closest challengers, Werrington, were only able to draw with Falmouth on Saturday. Third-placed Truro lost to St Austell after being bowled out in the last over for 260, chasing a target of 269. Newquay beat Callington by 107 runs, making 167 before bowling out the league's bottom side for just 60.
