Crook edges closer to 1,000 runs

Woodhall Spa's Andrew Crook made 127 in their winning draw at Bourne to take his total in this season's Lincolnshire Premier League to 948 runs.

Leaders Bracebridge Heath beat Messingham by 134 runs with Paul Cook and Pete Morgan making half-centuries.

Pierce Morley-Barnes's 108no and 6-59 from Karanjit Bansal helped Lindum beat Nettleham by 50 runs and climb to fourth in the table.

And Market Deeping fell from sixth to 10th after a 50-run defeat by Sleaford.

Second-placed Skegness's trip to Caistor fell foul of a waterlogged outfield, as did third-placed Louth's match at home to Grimsby.
