Guernsey suffered a heavy defeat to Ireland in their third match of the ICC Under-19 cricket tournament in Jersey. Ireland batted first and were in trouble early on at 27-3, but they recovered well to reach 281 all out in the last over. In reply, Guernsey were bowled out for just 49 runs in the 17th of their 50 overs, with Ireland's Craig Young taking 5-22. The defeat follows previous losses to Denmark and Jersey.
