Wiltshire secured a home tie in the quarter-finals of the MCCA Trophy in style, with a 53-run win over Cornwall in St Austell. The visitors continued their impressive performance with the bat this season, scoring 289-6 in their 50 overs, Greg Lamb top scoring with 74no. Wiltshire then bowled Cornwall out for 236, Alex Senneck taking 3-14. The quarter-final draw is still to be made, but the match will be played at Corsham on Sunday 14 June. Their defeat means Cornwall miss out on a place in the last eight, with Devon taking the second qualification place from Group Three.
