After opting to bat first in the opening Test, Australia slump to 54 for eight in an incredible start to the 1997 series at Edgbaston.
Darren Gough and Andy Caddick were the chief destroyers, with Caddick taking five for 50 in Australia's first innings total of just 118. England won by nine wickets but Australia recovered to win the series.
