The release of the 2009 Minor Counties Championship fixtures has dealt a blow to Norfolk's Horsford festival.

Traditionally, the festival has hosted three Championship games on consecutive weekends, but next season it will feature just two matches.

Horsford will host Hertfordshire (16-18 August) and Cambridgeshire (23-25 August) in Norfolk's final two games.

Norfolk's first home fixture in the Championship is also at Horsford against Staffordshire (21-23 June).
