The Cockspur Cup final will have to be replayed after Tuesday's match at Lord's was abandoned due to rain.

Kibworth dismissed opponents Malden Wanderers for a modest 144 before lunch before the Surrey side's bowlers reduced the Leicestershire side to 9-2.

The teams will now meet on 21 September for the replay at a venue which has yet to be decided.

Kibworth won the cup, regarded as club cricket's most prestigious prize, in 2004 but lost to Bromley last year.
