Tom Reeder-inspired Vagabonds beat Crosby to avoid relegation from Twenty20 Division Two, condemning their opponents to the drop in the process. The Rugby Men made a disappointing start, slumping to 53-7 but Reeder stepped up for one of the innings of the season - scoring 86 runs. In the last eight overs, Vagabonds made 105 runs without losing another wicket. They ended on 158-7 and Crosby fell 44 runs short in their innings to suffer relegation from the division. Crosby opener Gareth Rowland made 16 and Chris Shimmin 40 in their innings, but both were clean bowled by Reeder. At the close, John Loveday was undefeated with 25 not out, but the Marown team were stranded on 114-7.
