Loaghtyn Rams were crowned division two champions on Sunday after defeating Castletown B in the league finale.

It has been a great year for the club as earlier in the season they also won the Twenty20 division two title.

Their success was founded on a great opening stand by Dave Ball and Chris Nash who guided the Rams towards an impressive total of 194-7.

Harry Rothwell then ripped into the Southern batsmen taking 4-24 as Town were dismissed for just 118 runs.

It was a great performance from Rothwell and his second wicket was his 100th for the club in just three years.
