The Isle of Man have been defeated in the knockout stages of the Visas International six-a-side tournament in Canada.

After winning five of their six group matches, the Island team were knocked out by the strong Air New Zealand team.

The New Zealanders ran up 152-2, Gareth Roome and Graham Webb taking a wicket each.

Despite Roome crashing 54, the Manxmen could only manage 120-4 as the New Zealand team won by 32 runs.

Despite this loss the Island team have performed well above expectation in Canada, Ollie Webster proving the pick of the batsmen.
