Ramsey stormed back to the top of the Premiership on Sunday with an emphatic ten wicket win over St. John's. Batting first, the Saints were dismissed for just 65 with Ruairi Mooney top scoring on 24. Ollie Webster had a nightmare first over in which he bowled ten wides but managed to recover and finish with 5-25. Marc Pons-Burt and Eddie Cleator then batted sensibly to take the northerners to a fine victory. Cronkbourne had an excellent result, defeating Crosby in what turned out to be a nail-biting finish. The Tromode side came back from 39-4 to end on 164 with Alex Stokoe hitting 34 and Richard Foden 33. In reply Crosby lost two quick wickets, but a stand of 79 between Ricky and Danny Kniveton brought the side back into the game. However, the return of Max Stokoe to the attack ended their hopes. They were bowled out for 152, just 12 runs short. Stokoe finished with 4-21 and Neil Holmes took 2-22. Peel notched their first Premiership win of the season when they beat Valkyres by 53 runs. Russell Miller had a fine match, scoring 54 and then taking three wickets. Peel finished on 181 and then dismissed Valkyres for 128.
