Lincolnshire remain top of the Eastern Division of cricket's Minor Counties Championship after holding on for a draw against Northumberland on Tuesday.

Set 302 to win a rain affected match in Newcastle, they ended on 287-9.

Peter Morgan top scored with 83 and there were half-centuries for Matthew Dowman and Paul Cook.

Captain Rob Cook told BBC Radio Lincolnshire:"It was disappointing, but a good game and a fair result".
