We can reach semi-finals - Fell

Rob Cook
Rob Cook has a 100% record as Lincolnshire captain

Director of cricket Mark Fell believes Lincolnshire can overcome Norfolk at Grantham on Wednesday to reach the last four of the MCCA Knockout Trophy.

Victory will set up a semi-final at home to Devon, with the winners going on to the final at Lord's in August.

Lincolnshire won all four of their group matches in the competition, along with their opening three-day match.

Fell told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "If they're not confident by now there's something seriously wrong."

Rob Cook will captain an unchanged side for the game which will be played to a finish on the day. If no play is possible a bowl-out - cricket's equivalent of a penalty shoot-out - will take place.

"We can't do anything about that," Fell admitted. "It's down to whoever has the luck on the day.

"But once you start thinking about the weather it puts negative thoughts in your mind and you start to struggle."

Play is scheduled to begin at 1100BST.
