West Indies win the toss and choose to bat first in the third and deciding one-day game against England at Trent Bridge Devon Smith drives a couple of loose Liam Plunkett deliveries for four but edges James Anderson to Ian Bell at gully on 13 Chris Gayle enjoys better luck when he is dropped by Alastair Cook at cover on four and by Bell in the gully on 20 And the flamboyant opener becomes the sixth West Indian to move past 6,000 one-day runs with a cover drive for four The usually more restrained Shivnarine Chanderpaul is also opening his shoulders as the tourists reach 93-1 off 20 overs But he tries one swipe too many and is caught by Kevin Pietersen to depart for 33, his lowest score of the summer After removing Chanderpaul, Plunkett has Marlon Samuels caught behind by Matt Prior to leave the Windies 108-3 Gayle is proving trickier to remove and he saunters to his 31st half century off an uncharacteristically high 85 balls Runako Morton is dropped by Prior early on and he too makes England pay as the fourth-wicket partnership moves past 50 Gayle is finally caught and bowled by Plunkett for 82, bringing Dwayne Bravo to the crease at 193-4 for the final overs Morton and Bravo take advantage of some poor England bowling to push along at over 11 an over in the final 10 overs Bravo plays on to the penultimate ball of the innings to depart for 42, while Morton is 82 not out as the tourists close 289-5 England's reply gets off to a shaky start when Matt Prior is caught behind off Daren Powell and England are 6-1 Powell then takes the wickets of Cook for 18 and Pietersen for a second-ball duck to leave the hosts teetering on 33-3 Ian Bell brings some stability but skews a Fidel Edwards delivery to backward point on 27 and England are 72-4 Owais Shah adds 72 with Paul Collingwood but gloves a sweep shot and is caught behind by Denesh Ramdin on 51 And when Collingwood is undone by a Bravo delivery on 44, the game is all but over with England on 162-6 Gayle and Samuels take two stunning catches to remove Dimitri Mascarenhas and Plunkett as Edwards returns 3-30 Gayle also catches Stuart Broad leaving Monty Panesar and Anderson facing a strange one-day field at 171-9 The duo put on 25 before Panesar is trapped in front - the Windies win the match by 98 runs and the series 2-1
