West Indies limped to an unconvincing draw in their only tour match before the first Test against Sri Lanka beginning in Colombo on Wednesday. A Sri Lanka select XI, containing several Test players, were all out for 382 in reply to the tourists' first innings score of 110.
Kumar Sangakkara hit 109, Thilan Samaraweera hit 95 and captain Marvan Atapattu contributed 77.
Xavier Marshall then hit 43 in West Indies' second innings score of 109-4.
During the hosts' innings, Windies spinner Omari Banks claimed six wickets, but his 37 overs cost 146 runs.
Captain Shiv Chanderpaul, who saddles an almighty burden as the only player with Test experience in Sri Lanka, had scores of 15 and 10.
