Aussie openers hit groove
Tour match, Harare (day one of two, close): Zimbabwe A 151; Australia 151-1

McGrath was making a return from a long-term injury break

Top order batsmen Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer got Australia's tour of Zimbabwe off to a good start on the opening day of the warm-up match.

Against Zimbabwe A in Harare, Hayden and Langer hit 64 and 79 respectively.

The Aussies bowled out the hosts for 151 and then matched that score for the loss of just one wicket.

Zimbabwe A captain Vusi Sibanda won the toss and decided to bat. He went on to be the Zimbabwean top scorer with 48.Jason Gillespie took four wickets.

The match finished on Tuesday with the first of two Tests, also in Harare, on Thursday.

Three one-day internationals follow in June.
