VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid shared a stand of 168 to lead Rest of India to victory in India's season-opener. Dravid hit a patient 121 and Laxman 99 off 125 balls to defeat Sachin Tendulkar's domestic champions Mumbai by three wickets.
Overlooked by the one-day side, Laxman has not played for India since their last Test match, almost a year ago.
